Chloe's 4th Birthday: Tinkerbell

I can not believe Chloe is 4 years old now...it just went by too fast:(

Like always I had a lot of fun ideas for Chloe's Tinkerbell party this year.

Chloe decided she want a tinkerbell theme this year...so we went with a green and purple color theme. We were going for a woodland fairy look with the decorations (birdhouses, acorns, moss covered rocks, woodsy branches and of course how can you have a girls party without tulle).

I made fun signs incorporating tinkerbell sayings.

We had a treat/dessert table: cake pops, cupcakes, chocolate covered pretzels, candies (all with the purple and green color theme.

The goody bags were simply decorated with my tinkerbell cricut cut outs and pretty ribbon. One of the most time consuming things was the tinkerbell hair bows I made for each party guest. It took hours and days to make them all. There was a lot of ribbon cutting and gluing involved. These were made with love:) I spent my evenings on vacation in Vermont starting the bows eventually I had to call in help...from my sisters:)

We had a craft corner to make fairy houses. It was a bigger hit than I thought it would be...so I moved the house making outside:)

Here is the birthday girl! All dressed up. She insisted on wearing the same "party dress" as last year. She loves that dress!! Even though I did make her a tinkerbell colored tutu. I tried to make a t-shirt with a tinkerbell applique (cut out with my cricut). I failed:( I could not get the fabric cut right with my cricut...I will attempt it again though.

Happy brother! Carter stayed in the jump house almost the entire time. He loved it.

All the fairy girls that attended the party received wings and a wand. The boys got pirate eye patches and gold coin chocolates.

Tinkerbell Party Continued

At the end of the party we had a tinkerbell/pixie hollow story time. The kids walk into Pixie Hollow and we sprinkle them with fairy dust and then they hear a magical story. The kids seemed to enjoy it.

I think all the kids had fun. Chloe was a happy girl because in the end she opened her presents.

It was a fun afternoon for everyone!

First Annual Curtis Hollow Tea Party

Grandma Anne promised Chloe that we would have a tea party during our visit to Vermont. Well...the day finally came on our last day in Vermont. Of course there was some big "prep" that needed to be done for this fabulous tea party...wash the tea set. I swear this washing took hours but Chloe had a good time. While I was waiting I made zucchini bread and key lime pie.

This tea party made Chloe's day. We all wore hats and stuck out our pinkie fingers while drinking our tea.

I do not know how the cowboy and fireman got invited:)
